The Ayurvedic cleanse and rejuvenation is a seasonal practice that occurs quarterly. Participants will be advised on pre and post cleanse routines such as consuming modest amounts of ghee, regular use of sauna, oiling the body, cleansing procedures and adhering to a simple mono diet.
The cleanse is designed in three stages: pre-cleanse, cleanse, and rejuvenation.
Pre-Cleanse Stage
The pre-cleanse stage begins with multiple days of drinking ghee early in the morning and massaging the body with medicated oil. This is followed with sauna sessions that continue to prepare the body for healthy elimination of toxins.
Cleanse Stage
The cleanse stage is purging accumulated toxins that have built up over time due to regular stresses of life. Considered the most challenging stage it is also thought to be the most rewarding.
Rejuvenation Stage
Completing the cleanse is the rejuvenation stage which is the gentle rebuilding after toxins have been eliminated. The body has been reduced through the previous stages which allows for healthy rejuvenation to occur. Rejuvenation consists of rebuilding with various medicinals that amplify bodily potentials.
The primary focus of ayurveda is extending health span through the regular use of rejuvenation practices. The ayurvedic cleanse and rejuvenation is a method that not only rids the body of unproductive toxins but rebuilds it into a more resilient state.
This approach to wellness has its roots in ancient India but maintains modern practicality due to its simple application and beneficial results.
